Dr. Cynthia Boykin was a master's level special education teacher for twelve years prior to attending OSU to receive her doctorate in psychology. She completed her Doctoral internship in Nebraska where she worked with babies through geriatrics and a variety of disorders. Her Her Post-Doc Fellowship was completed over two years at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, including teaching at the medical school. She then accepted a position as the Senior Neuropsychologist in Wisconsin that saw children from all over the USA as well as from foreign countries. She has now returned to Oklahoma to be with family. She provides evaluations, assessments, and diagnoses of both children and adults. Dr. B has experience with a variety of disorders such as traumatic brain injuries, neurological illnesses, learning disabilities, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, fetal alcohol syndrome, reactive attachment disorder, ADHD, autism spectrum, and much more.
Shea graduated from the University of Central Oklahoma with a Master's Degree in Education where she specialized in Learning Disabilities. She then graduated form the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center where she obtained her Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
Shea has worked with patients with multiple challenges for 20 years including developmental disabilities, sensory issues, dysphagia, reading/writing issues, apraxia and autism. Her favorite part of being a speech-language pathologist is hearing that one of her patients "had a real conversation" with someone in the family.
The most important men in her life are her 3 boys Ethan, Zac and Sam and her husband, Bill. Shea loves the mountains, spending time with her family, and cooking.
Diana graduated from the University of Oklahoma Health Science Center in 2010. Diana decided to go back to school and major in Speech-Language Pathology following her experience of being a second grade teacher. She has training in LAMP (language acquisition through motor planning) for PRC devices. She enjoys working with children who have articulation and language delays as well as AAC (augmentative alternative communication) needs. Diana's work experience has included private practice work in home, school, and clinical settings. She has also experienced pediatric telepractice.
Joan Wiggins attended Texas Woman’s University and has lived and worked in Oklahoma and Texas. She has been drawn to pediatrics throughout her career as an Occupational Therapist. She has worked with children of all ages in hospital, out-patient, school and ECI/homebased settings. Joan has received training in many areas of intervention for children with sensory processing, developmental and physical disabilities. Some of these include SOS Feeding, Infant Massage, DIR Floortime, SIPT certification, Therapeutic Listening and NDT interventions.
Joan and her husband are proud of their three grown children and of their four (adorable) grandkids!
Shae Sellers is a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant who is dedicated to working with children and their families. Her passion is to help children develop skills needed to increase functional independence. Shae graduated from Brown Mackie College in 2015, where she received her degree in Applied Science of Occupational Therapy. Shae loves sports and enjoys spending time with her family. Shae is married to her husband Josh and they have 2 children, Kinser and Saydi.
Delana has been with Elite since our clinic stood up in the summer of 2017. Her managerial experience spans from restaurant staff management and training to hospital pharmaceutical shift management responsibilities. She has expertise in the field of health insurance navigation and billing requirements. She loves being able to guide families through the process of starting therapy and working with staff to provide the best experience at our clinic.
The most important people in Delana’s life are her family. Delana, her husband Seth, and their daughter, Mackenzie, are Oklahoma City natives. Delana is a strong child advocate and has made that her life’s priority. When Delana is not at work, she enjoys spending time with family and caring for her 6 pets at home.
Angela graduated from the University of Illinois at Chicago in 2006 with a master’s degree in Occupational Therapy specializing in early intervention. She has experience working with children with a wide range of developmental delays and sensory processing issues in schools, home and community settings, and pediatric clinics. Angela is especially passionate about helping children who have experienced trauma due to family separation and advocating for all families to be able to access the services their children need to experience their highest potential. Angela and her husband, Brad, have lived in Oklahoma since 2012. In her free time, Angela enjoys reading, yoga, and going on local adventures with her four children.
