About
Pediatric occupational therapy works to provide children with independence through the development of fine motor and sensory skills. Our Occupational Therapists work one-on-one with kids to learn basic and advanced tasks. This will provide what they need to function in society and socialize with peers.

Typical Milestones

Purposeful grasp and release of object: 7-9 months

Pincer grasp (thumb and index finger): 10-12 months

Stacks 2-6 blocks: 12-24 months

Self feeds with utensils: 2-3 years

Zips and snaps clothing: 3-4 years

Uses scissors to cut simple shapes: 4-5 years

Copies written letters and numbers: 5 years
